The Lice Company is owned and operated by a former teacher/school counselor. All of our lice treatment specialists are gentle and kind. They are usually fellow parents and often work in the education or nursing field. While providing in-home lice treatment services they are able to put children at ease, reassure parents and get them back their sanity. By teaching lice prevention tactics they ensure confidence and success.

Meet the Owner
Merav Horovitz
After years of teaching special education and securing a graduate degree in Counseling, I became a Guidance Counselor. However, I was 3000 miles from what mattered most to me - my family! So I moved back to Boston, where I grew up, from sunny San Diego and haven't regretted it.
While studying, teaching and counseling, treating lice was a part-time job. However, with such a demand for my services, it has developed into a full-time business. I personally continue to perform treatment and have also trained wonderful, caring specialists to assist me at The Lice Company. I've truly enjoyed building a company that helps so many families. You and your children make this work so rewarding.
I like to joke that I still use my degree in Counseling on a daily basis as I do "Lice Therapy"! I'm always available to answer questions, so please give me a call. Clear your head!
