So... What does that mean for head lice? It means kids are wearing all their hats and scarves! We're being great parents and bundling up our kids so they're nice and toasty but the second they get inside the first thing they do is strip off those layers and throw those hats and scarves on shelves and in cubbies. Unfortunately, this presents a wonderful opportunity for head lice to travel and find new homes. Examine your children frequently, put their coats and items in the dryer on high heat for 30 minutes when they get home from school, remind them to store their items in their backpack, not to share things, and not to hug or touch heads... Good luck and stay safe! And remember... TLC is always here for you if you need us!
